Progress Report Grades Are Up!!!

¡Hola, chicos y chicas!

Progress Report grades are up! Check them out!

Also, by popular demand, you may also see how many missing/late assignments you have when checking your grades online!

Near the top of the report there is a section called Missing Assignments. This lists the number of assignments that are missing and/or late, including any missed homework.

To see which assignments are actually missing, look at the individual assignment list that follows. You’re looking for assignments with the grades of XX (missing graded assignment), L (late homework), AB (missing homework due to absence), and No (missing homework).

Remember, that although you don’t get credit for turning in late homework assignments, if you wish to be eligible for any homework passes, including the ones you buy, you CANNOT have any missing homework assignments. They must ALL be turned in to be eligible. Once you have a missing homework, that stays with you for the whole semester until you clear it up. Don’t shoot yourself in the foot by not turning in that assignment from the first weeks of school because that will haunt you until 2nd Semester in February!

¡Hasta mañana!

And Period 6 does it again!!! :-)

And Period 6 outperforms again!

On the Ser (to be) Quiz, Period 6 wins again with an overall class average of 2.5! That’s a B average and that’s excellent.

They started out from behind and have been working hard ever since, hoping to take out current number 1 class, Period 2. And they’re not far behind.

If you’re in Period 2, you better get crackin’ those books to stay on top because Period 6 is nipping at your heels!

For the other 2 classes… what is wrong with you! :-) Are you going to let Period 2 and Period 6 battle it out, leaving you guys way back in the dust? You guys aren’t even in the game. I know you guys are better than that! Show Period 2 and 6 what you’re made of and come out the sure-fire winners!

The full results are as follows:
Period 6—2.5
Period 2—2.3
Period 3—2.1
Period 4—2.0

And the results are in…

¡Hola, Español 1!

Congrats go out to Period 2, for having the highest average on the Adjective Quiz. Their average score was 3.3 with Period 6 coming in second with 2.9, followed by 3rd with 2.6 and 4th with 1.7.

Tomorrow I will award those students who earned an A in Period 2 with a HW Pass.

Keep up the good work!

And don’t forget to come by and laugh at your parents tonight! :)

Profesor Benedict

And the winner is…

On the last quiz, Period 6 came out from behind and became the smartest Spanish 1 class!

¡Felicidades Periodo 6! :-)

5th Week Already!

¡Hola, chicos y chicas!

We’re already in the 5th week! Can you believe it?

I will be filling out progress reports on Friday and they will be mailed the following week. I give out progress reports for ALL students, including A- and B-students.

If you are unhappy with your grade or think that your grade doesn’t represent accurately your Spanish knowledge, be sure to study, study, study, and ask muchas preguntas (many questions) in order to succeed.

Let’s have another great week!
