Hey, All!

I have some news that I would like to share with you. For many it will make you happy and others sad.

I have accepted a job in Las Vegas teaching Spanish and German using TPRS.

Many of you know that I truly believe that this is the superior way to teach and to learn a foreign language and teaching in this type of environment, I believe that I can be the most help to students. Unfortunately, I was not able to teach this way full-time at AHS.

I wanted to take the time now to tell you guys how much you have meant to me over these past four years. I love each and every one of you. We’ve had our ups and downs, good times and bad, but I believe that a majority of you learned some Spanish along the way.

The past four years here at Arcadia have been some of the best of my life. I truly love teaching, and I think most of you can see that. I have had many good times here at Arcadia, I’ve learned a lot from you kids, and you guys inspired me to get up and come to work each and every day. I will truly miss all of you and everything that is Arcadia. You guys mean so much to me. In a way, you are all like my children.

I know that I have been strict at times, trivial, and lax at others, but I hope that through all of this, you have come away from my class with more than just Spanish knowledge, but some other life lessons as well. I know that I have certainly learned a lot from all of you in these areas. It’s been a lot of give and take and I think that’s what teaching is all about.

So as I count down my final days here at Arcadia, I’m very saddened to know that I may never see some of you again. But you can bet that you are all imbeded into my memory and I will remember you always.

Good luck in everything that you do. You all deservie the best and you all are capable of GREAT things!

Don’t sweat the small stuff, be the best that you can be, and above all, be yourself, it’s the only person worth being!

Hola, Español 2!

Your grades are updated and all tests were graded without penalty!!!! A few of you have pleasant surprises! Congratulations on all your hard work, I know it wasn’t easy and that most of the time, I’m a bear to deal with, but I enjoyed all of you, even you, Louis!
