Thanks to your minor rule about putting the test number on the writing prompt, I went home and for the first time in five years, I cried, a lot. Great job for ruining what would have been a personal record of not expressing any emotions relating to tragic events (like this, for example) for the longest time.

I still can’t believe that you have no feelings of regret to those whose lives have just been ruined by your minor rule. (mine, for instance)

Another thing, what is worse is that you’ll probably still lower my grade because of that minor rule.

I have to point out that in our class, at least half of the class does not follow directions on just about anything, or else we wouldn’t have spent so much of our days just talking about the directions of this and that. It is not right, especially in this time of need (when our grades need a major boost in order to advance to the next class), to make that particular half of the class suffer for their own incomprehension of the directions due to their own personal reasons of not following the minor rule.

Even if you punish those who do not follow directions, these sort of people will not learn from their mistakes. They will, instead of discovering their problem with not comprehending this minor rule, discover that their own problems and the feelings that follow from hearing that they have recieved an “F” grade, regardless of their other scores, will lead to depression and feelings of guilt and displeasure. Often enough, as studies have shown, these people will not recover from their depression on a matter that should be minor, but in fact are in extreme importance not only to themselves, but to their parents or in the faces of their own comrades and competition. You will find that a common trait among those who feel depressed after being told that they got an automatic “F” because of a minor mistake of not putting the test number on the writing prompt or any other situation in which the matter is minor, is that these people will cry and continue to be depressed, even as they advance and mature into adulthood.

In conclusion, what is a minor matter such as the situation described above can lead to extreme depression and will continue to haunt these people for the rest of their lives. Do not believe the outer portaits that these people portray (as in don’t believe those who appear calm, collected, and resigned with their fate) after they recieve an “F” grade just because of a minor matter that should not have even been such a big deal. Inside of these people, depression should and are slowly destroying whatever confidence and satisfaction that they retain, even after such a beating from the finals.

Now I am going to go and continue to cry for my grade.

Yes, currently I do have a lot of time on my hands.

To make matters short, I believe that the people who had that “minor error” should be graded fairly and equal to others who did not make that “minor error”. No one is perfect, and the twelve people who made that minor error (myself included) are no different than the people who did not make that error. Perfection is not a part of man, and if you look hard enough, you would be bound to find others who made other mistakes, so also critize those people, while you’re at it. Making people feel bad and cry just because of a minor and insignificant (I mean, if you have your name on the writing prompt packet and the scantron, then the test number is insignificant.) little rule is wrong and immoral. I could compare your attitude towards other people, to many dictators and power-grabbing personas in history, but in fear of your power to lower my grade, I would not.

I badly need a B- in your class.

Again, I have a lot of time and a lot of complaints and arguments on my hands.
